Acrylic Coated Galvalume (Optional)

Our Acrylic Coated Galvalume features an added layer of acrylic to protect the surface from fingerprints during handling, manufacturing, and installation. This coating is designed to maintain a clean, smooth surface but cannot be painted and must be used in its bare form.

It can be dry roll-formed without the need for lubrication and allows for efficient roll-forming alongside pre-painted steel on the same machine, without requiring extensive cleaning of the roll-forming dies. This makes it a versatile and cost-effective solution for various industrial applications.

Weight of AI-Zn Coating

We primarily offer AZ50, AZ55, and AZ150 Galvalume steel coils. These coating designations are based on specific standards:

  • AZ50 and AZ55 are ASTM A792 standard coatings, with weights of 0.50 ounces per square foot and 0.55 ounces per square foot, respectively.

  • AZ150 is a coating designation per the EN 10346 standard, with a weight of 150g per square meter.

In terms of equivalency:

  • AZ50 is equivalent to AZ150.

  • AZ55 is equivalent to AZ165.

Additionally, we can produce Galvalume steel with lower coating weights. Please feel free to reach out to our sales team for more information on custom coating options.
